New Delhi - Jan 12th 2007 The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh launched the India Water Portal which is a website to help and assist practitioners in the water sector. This internet portal was implemented by the eGovernments Foundation for the Arghyam Trust. The portal extensively uses GIS and other multimedia technologies to help practisioners with metreological data, water organization locator, case studies, discussion groups, news feeds etc.  Read PM's Speech


New Delhi - April 17th - The New Delhi Municipal Corporation(NDMC) and eGovernments Foundation signed an MoU to implement an Accrual based accounting system for the NDMC.
Mr. Nandan Nilekani(Founder Trustee eGov), Mrs Sindhushree Khullar (Chairperson NDMC) and Mr. Srikanth Nadhamuni (Managing Trustee eGov) were present at the function.

eGov Financials is a double-entry fund-based financial accounting system, developed by the eGovernments Foundation exclusively for Indian municipalities as per the National Municipal Accounting Manual published by the CAG and the Ministry of Urban Development. more


Bangalore - Aug 15th  We celebrate our 58th Independence day with the launch of 50 city websites with 'Public Grievance & Redressal Module' in the largest cities of Karnataka. The last 2 years have seen a tremendous amount of work on the field by city staff, Urban Development department,  eGovernments Foundation staff and volunteers. Bangalore - July 1st Union Finance Minister P.Chidambaram, Karnataka, Chief Minister Dharam Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Minister for Municipal Administration S.R.Morey to Launch City Websites and Public Grievance & Redressal module for 7 cities of Karnataka - Mysore, Bijapur, Udupi, Hassan, Mahadevapura, Raichur & Gokak. This will be the first in a series of citizen friendly Municipal eGovernance applications provided by the eGovernments Foundation going live in 57 cities of Karnataka. Press Release
