PURA SEVA SURVEY RESULTS

The state of Andhra Pradesh has truly been a pioneer in the use of technology to drive better governance. However, it’s ULBs were functioning on various legacy platforms with limited standardization and redundancies in data collection. To address this, the Government of Andhra Pradesh deployed DIGIT platform in all the 110 ULBs across the state, starting in 2015, delivering over 36 citizen services.

The country’s first fully integrated citizen and employee mobile app, Pura Seva was introduced to promote citizen participation and transparency. Pura Seva helped citizens to express their grievances and enabled municipal employees to resolve the complaints digitally.

60 decibels in partnership with Omidyar Network, conducted a lean data survey and spoke directly to 306 citizens and 101 municipal employees on their engagement and experience using the Pura Seva app.
